By accessing or using RecoAI ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, candidates, companies, and administrators who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

RecoAI is an AI-powered recruitment platform that provides:

• Candidate profile creation and management
• Company job posting and candidate management
• AI-powered Smart Matching between candidates and job postings
• AI-assisted CV Chat for recruiters to interact with candidate profiles
• AI Career Coaching tips for candidates
• Job application tracking and status management
• Direct email communication between companies and candidates
• Multi-language support (English and Arabic)

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3.2 Account Types

The Platform supports the following account types:

• Candidate: For individuals seeking employment opportunities
• Company: For organizations looking to hire talent
• Administrator: For platform management (invitation only)

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We use industry-standard Argon2 password hashing and JWT-based authentication to protect your account.

3.4 Google Sign-In

You may register and sign in using your Google account. By choosing this option, you authorize us to access your Google profile information (email, name, profile picture) for account creation and authentication. Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Terms of Service.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Candidates

• Provide accurate and truthful profile information
• Upload only genuine CVs and documents that belong to you
• Keep your profile information up to date
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, skills, or experience

4.2 Companies

• Post only legitimate, non-discriminatory job listings
• Provide accurate company and job information
• Use candidate data only for recruitment purposes
• Respect candidate privacy and handle their information responsibly
• Not use the AI Chat feature to generate misleading assessments

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create fake or fraudulent accounts
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform through automated means
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or Platform systems
• Use the Platform to spam, harass, or discriminate against other users
• Manipulate or interfere with the AI matching algorithms
• Post jobs that are deceptive, illegal, or violate any applicable laws
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use candidate information obtained through the Platform for purposes other than legitimate recruitment

6. AI-Powered Features

6.1 Smart Match

Our AI-powered Smart Match feature analyzes candidate profiles and job requirements to suggest potential matches. Match scores are generated algorithmically and should be considered as suggestions, not guarantees of suitability. Hiring decisions should not be based solely on AI-generated match scores.

6.2 AI Chat

The AI Chat feature allows companies to ask questions about candidate CVs. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence based on CV content and may not be fully accurate. Companies should verify important information directly with the candidate before making hiring decisions.

6.3 AI Career Coach

The AI Career Coach provides automated suggestions to help candidates optimize their profiles. These tips are general recommendations and do not guarantee improved job prospects.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, algorithms, text, and software, is owned by RecoAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload (CVs, profile information, company logos), but grant us a limited license to use this content to provide our services.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, hiring decisions based on AI suggestions, or actions taken by other users of the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
• Your account poses a security risk to other users

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
