1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on RecoJobs as a candidate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not register or use the RecoJobs mobile application. These terms apply specifically to candidate users of the RecoJobs platform.

2. Description of Service

RecoJobs is an AI-powered recruitment mobile application that provides candidates with the following services:

• Profile creation and management for job seekers
• AI-powered Smart Matching between your profile and available job postings
• AI Career Coaching tips to improve your professional profile
• Job search and application tracking
• CV/Resume upload and management
• Multi-language support (English and Arabic)
• Push notifications for job matches and application updates

3. Candidate Account & Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a candidate account on RecoJobs. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We use industry-standard Argon2 password hashing and JWT-based authentication to protect your account.

3.3 Google Sign-In

You may register and sign in using your Google account. By choosing this option, you authorize us to access your Google profile information (email, name, profile picture) for account creation and authentication purposes.

4. Candidate Responsibilities

As a candidate user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful profile information
• Upload only genuine CVs and documents that belong to you
• Keep your profile information up to date
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, skills, or experience
• Not create fake or fraudulent accounts
• Not upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or platform systems
• Not use the platform to spam, harass, or discriminate against others
• Not share your account credentials with third parties

5. AI-Powered Features

5.1 Smart Match

Our AI-powered Smart Match feature analyzes your candidate profile and job requirements to suggest potential job matches. Match scores are generated algorithmically and should be considered as suggestions, not guarantees of suitability or employment.

5.2 AI Career Coach

The AI Career Coach provides automated suggestions to help you optimize your profile. These tips are general recommendations and do not guarantee improved job prospects or employment outcomes.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

6.1 Information We Collect

When you use RecoJobs as a candidate, we collect:

• Full name, email address, and telephone number
• Password (encrypted using Argon2 hashing)
• Resume/CV and educational qualifications
• Work experience, skills, and desired positions
• Date of birth and contact information
• Job preferences and career interests
• Profile picture (if provided)

6.2 How We Use Your Information

• Providing and maintaining RecoJobs services
• AI-powered Smart Matching between your profile and jobs
• Delivering AI Career Coaching tips
• Sending job alerts and application update notifications
• Improving our algorithms and user experience

6.3 Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data including password encryption using Argon2, secure JWT-based authentication tokens, HttpOnly cookies to prevent XSS attacks, and CORS protection against unauthorized cross-origin requests.

6.4 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information may be shared with companies only for legitimate recruitment purposes when you apply for a job or when the AI matching system identifies relevant opportunities.

7. Your Rights

As a candidate user, you have the right to:

• Access and update your personal data at any time
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Request a copy of your personal data
• Control your mailing and notification preferences

8. Intellectual Property

The RecoJobs application, including its design, logos, algorithms, text, and software, is owned by RecoJobs and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload (CVs, profile information), but grant us a limited license to use this content to provide our services. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the application without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The RecoJobs application is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that:

• The application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• AI-generated matches or recommendations will be accurate or suitable
• Use of the application will result in employment
• All information provided by companies or other users is accurate

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoJobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, hiring decisions based on AI suggestions, or actions taken by companies or other users of the platform.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your candidate account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior, or if your account poses a security risk. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use RecoJobs ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the application. Your continued use of RecoJobs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Libya. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of RecoJobs shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
