Key Responsibilities

• check_circle Record customer payments accurately in Odoo.
• check_circle Maintain a detailed and up-to-date Excel record of all payments received.
• check_circle Record relevant payment details, including customer name, payment date, amount, currency, payment reference, and related invoice(s).
• check_circle Follow up with customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices.
• check_circle Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status, outstanding balances, and expected payment dates.
• check_circle Match incoming payments to the relevant customer and invoice.
• check_circle Identify unidentified or unclear payments and follow up to obtain the necessary information.
• check_circle Maintain organized supporting documentation for customer payments and follow-ups.
• check_circle Assist with maintaining accurate customer account records.
• check_circle Assist with additional accounting and data-entry tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• check_circle Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
• check_circle Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, accounting, or a similar role is preferred.
• check_circle Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• check_circle Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with customers.
• check_circle Ability to follow up consistently and effectively on overdue payments.
• check_circle Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• check_circle Basic understanding of accounting principles particularly accounts receivable and customer payments.
• check_circle Ability to work with accounting software; Odoo experience is an advantage.
